Kier Group’s managed service provision for the recruitment of contingent workers is provided by Hays Enterprise Solutions and its recruitment team, known as Kier Staffing Solutions. The team are dedicated to Kier and are the single point of contact regarding temporary recruitment within Kier Construction, Places, Group Services, Transportation, Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks. Kier Staffing Solutions work with 50+ suppliers to fulfil Kier requirements and are based in two locations; Kier’s Procurement Shared Service Centre in Rushden and Hays Enterprise Solutions’ Shared Service Centre in Leicester.

Kier Staffing Solutions ensure compliance to Kier’s health and safety requirements and advance cost approval on all vacancy orders. Therefore it is essential that notice be provided on vacancies wherever possible. The hiring manger will need to raise the vacancy on the Kier Staffing Solutions platform; 3SS. If you are unable to raise a vacancy via 3SS then please contact the Kier Staffing Solutions team.

When a vacancy has been raised, your Kier Staffing Solutions point of contact will engage you to define specific skills, training and site requirements before reverting to the relevant Kier approval process for each Business Stream. The relevant cost approver will receive an email notification to alert them of the vacancy requiring approval. Once cost approval has been granted on 3SS a purchase order will be generated and Kier Staffing Solutions will engage the supply chain to progress the vacancy via 3SS.
